Brambly Farms Norfolk, Ma
Staff
Ted has been farming at Brambly Farms for six years. His passion for farming guarantees only the finest quality products. He takes pride in his animals and spends countless hours caring for his farm.
Raised in Ireland, Ted is a fifth generation farmer. He spent his childhood maintaining over 100 acres of land his family owned and farmed. As a teenager, Ted took a series of courses through the Young Farmer Exchange Program sponsored by Ireland’s government.
Ted continued to expand his knowledge through working visits in places such as Australia, Holland, and France. He worked on a large west Australian fertile egg farm for a year. He also worked on a pork / dairy farm in Tilburg in Holland before spending several months working at a french vineyard in the Loire river valley.
Ted hopes to take some of these positive farm experiences and make Brambly farms a place here his family and customers can enjoy good food and memories for years to come.
Sandra also grew up in Ireland. Her mother was raised on a dairy farm, giving Sandra access during the summertime to farm festivities, including haymaking and helping milk cows.
At Brambly Farms, Sandra is involved with all aspects of the farms scheduling and customer relations. If something isn't just perfect she will try everything possible to remedy it. "A happy customer is a customer for life", is her mantra. She also helps out with the gathering and selling of eggs, as well as the rabbit production.
Sandra really enjoys getting out to do the deliveries and meeting with Brambly Farm's many customers in MA and RI.
Cormac is the son of Ted and Sandra and is proud to be a sixth generation farmer within the O'Harte family. Cormac helps with farm managment, as well as running the beef division here at Brambly Farms. He hopes someday to be able to buy Brambly farms from his parents for several million dollars. His Dad and Mom also waiting for this wonderful event to happen :)
Erin is in charge of feeding the rabbits and making sure that the baby rabbits have ample straw and hay so that they will be warm. She also collects the eggs and once in a while helps customers when they stop by our family farm.
Tara is in charge of picking the fruit ( while in season ) on Brambly Farms. While she is waiting for the fruit she also assists her big sister with the rabbits and any egg gathering work on an as needed basis.
Tara also discovered that she really enjoys helping customers when they visit us at Brambly farms. She has decided that she might like to work as an animal cop or a vet when she gets older.
Brambly Farms would hire her as our farm's vet in a minute.
